During an official visit to the Maldives, Saudi Minister of State Prince Dr. Mansour bin Mutaib bin Abdulaziz engaged in discussions with Maldivian President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. The visit coincided with the celebrations of the 61st anniversary of the Maldives’ independence, emphasizing the robust diplomatic ties between Saudi Arabia and the island nation.
Prince Mansour’s participation in the independence festivities underscored the mutual commitment to strengthening the bilateral relationship between the two countries. Upon Prince Mansour’s arrival at Velana International Airport, a warm reception awaited him. He was greeted by Maldivian Foreign Minister Dr. Abdulla Khaleel, along with the Principal Secretary to the President on Foreign Relations, Mohamed Naseer. The reception was also attended by Saudi Ambassador to the Maldives, Yahya Hassan Al-Qahtani, highlighting the importance of his visit.
